April 2002 - our workplace was granted a licence and acknowledged the status of Dermatological centre with outpatient department. This made us the first outpatient department in Slovakia to have state-of-the-art equipment in the area of venereal dermatology.
With the system of work of the outpatient sanatorium (centre) that has been in place since 1997, we have improved the diagnosis and treatment of patients with skin and venereal diseases.
The most modern and effective treatment of psoriasis, atopic dermatitis (allergic eczema), hair loss, pigmentation and all forms of chronic skin diseases, so far treated unsuccessfully in other centres.
By using phototherapy treatment by UVA1, UVB311nm, and PUVA, being the only centre in Slovakia to own such, as much as 80% of patients treated see their skin disease cured for at least 3-6 months in the case of chronic skin diseases, with 70-80% of patients suffering from other diseases being cured completely.
Treatment does not require hospitalisation or time off work, as it is carried out in outpatient form.
